To brighten up your Tuesday morning: check out Pish Posh, Said Hieronymus Bosch, a quirky rhyming children’s book about the creatures that populate Bosch’s cataclysmic paintings, and the poor, overworked (and very beautiful) housekeeper who must keep them all housed, fed, and entertained! See what happens when Hieronymus Bosch’s absentmindedness pushes the housekeeper too far. Guaranteed laugh-out-loud fun for grownups and kids alike in both the bouncing verse and the beautiful illustrations of the cavorting creatures.

Such a fun book! I bought it the summer I was pregnant with my first, at Bread Loaf, because Nancy Willard was there. I bought a couple of her children's books, in fact, but this one was the most fun to read aloud.
